- The Dusty Rose Turtle Neck Dress was a top pick this week! It was a steal on Amazon!
- My Casual Turtle Neck Chunky Sweater from Amazon is the color for fall and is so cozy.
- The long sleeve Leopard Dress, another Amazon find, it is so comfortable, and it has pockets!
- You guys were all about my Leopard Pumpkin Baseball Tee! This is great for all of the Halloween festivities this month!
- These Initial Pendant Necklaces are dainty and look so pretty layered. I wore my “L” for Lana and “A” for Aubrey together. The stones are placed differently for each letter.
- Fall means boot weather! The Sam Edelman Hiltin Knee High Boots are so versatile for the colder weather we are finally starting to see here in Chicago.
- My Hope You Brought Wine Welcome Mat gets so many compliments when we have people over! This was a Target find and so fun to spice up your front porch or patio. I like to layer my mats.
- This Amazon Chunky Cable Knit Turtle Neck sweater did not disappoint. It was cozy, soft, oversized, and bonus: it was my favorite color!
- It’s no secret that I love my Tula skincare, and the Hydrating Day & Night Cream was one of your favorites last week too.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is your hair cut? As a hairstylist myself I will put this in hair terms to share with your stylist! I have thick, wavy hair naturally! I like my length cut into a long inverted lob. I have lots of layers and they are “rounded” layers in the crown that go LONGER towards my face. I like a blunt drop off for my front angle to accommodate my hairline. I have a slight angle around my eyes and checks and then I drop off. I KEEP my points in the front, bottom for dramatic length so it is longer in the front. If you frame the bottom you will lose that “point”. This haircut also works well on fine hair with less layering.
What do you use under your eyes? I am fortunate to not have dark circles under my eyes but since they are deep-set I swear by the Tarte Creaseless Concealer. Due to my dry skin, I find this one works a little better for my fine lines. I also have the Normal Shape Tape Concealer for more coverage but have to use water to dilute it out of my creases. I then layer it with the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. This stuff is AMAZING! It comes in several shades and can be worn under makeup, or alone! HIGHLY rec!
What size curling iron do you use? What hair tools do you use? Standard sizing I would recommend from behind the chair is 1 1/4 in! If your hair is shorter than shoulder length, go down in size. I rarely suggest going up in size. I use a basic Conair curling iron that is under $20!!! However, I do believe in a really good blow dryer. These do make a difference and where I recommend you spend your dollars. It has to do with the direction of the airflow internally with the dryers.
