How to Decorate your patio for Summer

Do you ever wonder how people so effortlessly make their patios and outdoor spaces look just like inside decor!?  So many great finds and ideas at our daily fingertips allowing to make it possible without breaking the bank.  I am going to link up a few of my favorite items that I added to my outdoor space for the season that make it feel like you brought your living room outside!  Cozy and comfy with a bit of style .  I hope to help make it easier for all of you to get those spaces ready for guests and cozy them up to relax in all summer long!  Here in Chicago, you never know what the weather will bring. I try to find items that will withstand all the crazy weather we get , and some little tips and tricks I use along the way to keep my space feeling alive!   Here are all my favorites for my space on Amazon.  We all know how much I love Amazon and everything is at my doorstep in a matter of days!  Cheers to that!!!

Outdoor rugs !  I was skeptical, but let me tell you , this has withstood all weather, kid spills and just about anything else you can imagine and I had no fading!  I think these are well worth the money, however I won’t overspend here.   Our patio gets sun all day long and this helps the kiddies not burn their bare feet! Bonus for mom life!  The best price I have seen and on my second season with mine! Under $65!!! Steal and it is a great size.

I like to add accents and trays to all my spaces inside and out!  A few posts back I talked about those galvanized trays, here is why!  They are versatile and can go anywhere from your kitchen to your patio!

Solar Lanterns are probably one of my favorite things.  Not only because the obvious solar part, but flame-less is also kid safe and I never have to remember to blow them out when I have been sipping on too much vino!  Send me all your lanterns, you can never have too many in my opinion!  These can also go INDOOR or OUT!  Can I get an amen!?

I do like to add some citronella candles into the mix to help with the bugs here!  Those you can get anywhere but I have found some really fun ones to add some pop of color and fun to those trays!   The first set is soy based and natural in those adorable mason jars.  These are great gifts for the new home owner!

Melamine everything over this way!  Plates, cups, wine glasses, and just about everything else you can imagine!

Lately all the succulents and faux plants are reallllly good!  Many you cannot tell if they are real or faux!  So guess what?  I am mixing mine up in my outdoor space too!  Yes you heard that right, nobody can tell, until now that I told the world! lol. No water needed and always in bloom!  I like to add them to my trays and tables!  Mix them in a bit with some real plant options too!   This really helps add some color and foliage to any space!  If you are just catching up with me now, I also love to put these plants INSIDE my lanterns for summer.   It adds some color inside your home and outside too.  You can find these little guys anywhere lately!  Real succulents are also very easy to keep and manage.  Mine are actually surviving over here!  Shocking!  If I can keep them going, anybody can!
