Hey friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and Valentine’s Day! We are getting ready for our trip this weekend and I am getting excited for some sunshine with my sweet fam! I have been getting tons of requests for hair tutorials and I recently shared how I get sleek and smooth hair! Today I am sharing with you some of my other favorite hair tools!
I get asked often about hair tools and straighteners and which I recommend! The ghd NEW original 1” styler does it all! A huge supporter of this brand and how they protect the integrity of your hair from start to finish this particular one smooths, bends and waves all in one! They also have it set to the ideal temperature of 365 degrees for ALL hair types! With a heat up time of just 30 seconds, this is my go to styler that is on the market!

For my curling iron I use a 1.25” barrel. Here’s a tutorial on how I curl my hair!
A few tips for those perfect waves:
1. Spray before you curl with a light hairspray.
2. Curl from the TOP DOWN the strand.
3. Take vertical sections for softer look.
4. Always curl away from your face.
5. Finish by grabbing a few random pieces on top to add texture.
6. Lift and spray for volume. Let cool
7. Tease with a pick UP the hair strand slightly!

My all time favorite hairspray is linked too! I swear you will never find a better hairspray! It’s firm holding and it’s for every type of hair.
Steps below:
1. Wash and dry your hair fully! (I just hand dried mine)
2. Light spray with hairspray or texture spray.
3. Section the hair
4. Start with bangs and roll back, forward for more lift!
5. Over direct the hair ALWAYS!!! This applies to curling irons too!
*I allow mine to cool and remove, style and spray! It’s easy!
