Hey friends! Today I’m sharing my full self tanning routine! From shaving and exfoliating to my favorite tanning products!
The first thing I always do before I self tan, when I’m prepping my skin is exfoliate. You want to exfoliate the best that you can and then I always make sure I have a clean shave. I think it is so important! For that I use my Billie razor. Seriously, it’s like the best $9 razor you’ll ever use! If you haven’t tried it I highly suggest you do! You can also gift it which is so cool.
Before you put your self tanner on I recommend to use the shave cream. I’ve said it before, I’m as dry as an alligator and this is the best shaving cream I’ve ever used. I’m not even a shaving cream person but I’m addicted to this stuff!
I also got the cutest new bath caddy and so I’m excited to set it all up and shave and do my self tanning routine! I love that you can pop up your phone or your stuff doesn’t fall out! I thought it was so cute and would make such a great gift idea for a new mom, or anybody really! You can do a bath caddy and fill it with goodies, so so cute!
After I’ve shaved and exfoliated, my skin is ready to self tan! I have a few different favorites that I’ve used and I love! My favorite is the Xen-Tan, it’s a lotion and is super hydrating. The Loving Tan 2 hr Express is great if you’re in a hurry and need a good tan quickly! The Jergens Instant Sun is a great super affordable drugstore option!
The body brush is a game changer for self tanning, I use this for tanning my feet and it works so well. I use dark or deep in all of them! The mitt you use is also SO important, I love this one from Loving Tan.
