Hello friends! Many of you know my love for home decor and I am excited to share some of our new decor updates with you! With summer here, I’ve been adding in some new and fresh items. Sometimes to keep it easy, I’ll just re-arrange some of the items we already have! Do you like to move things from room to room in your homes? It changes up your spaces and makes them feel refreshed! I do this often and I always love how it turns out!
We also FINALLY got our new couch and I couldn’t be happier about it! The sofa has totally transformed the space. Now if I could just keep Baxter off! I think he won that battle. And bonus: it’s up to 20% off right now! We went with a twill fabric and so far everything has been able to wipe off easily and it seems very durable. I spoke to several friends who have this same one in other fabrics and they all said the same thing! I am big on reviews as well and I knew going light would be risky but I absolutely LOVE it!
My stripe stools are another new addition to this room. They are on major sale right now for 40% off and I absolutely love them! They are worth every penny and really added a nice texture. The rug in this space isn’t new but it has been a top seller for a few months and it is also on sale. It has held up great with the kids and the pup. Very affordable rug option if you are looking for one!
Send me all the dried grasses! It is such a great decor item to bring in natural textures to any space! I saw my vases are on sale and the grass is an Amazon find and fabulous! I am going to share a few others I found and love as well as vases. These are going fast but you do get a nice bundle to spread around to various spaces in your home. This will also transition into fall.
Another question I get often is my paint color and choices! I went with all White Dove by Benjamin Moore for this room. It is also what we used when we did our bathroom renovation a couple years ago and I just love it. It is one of the more popular shades of white paint. I find it to be a very neutral tone meaning not too yellow or too gray. I did the same paint color on my fireplace and trim as well BUT I changed the sheen. Fireplace is matte and flat. I did not want any sheen on the brick when we did this. I also added the trim around all the windows last year and it made a HUGE difference in this room.
