Rustic Living Room

Let’s talk rustic decor, particularly farmhouse decor shall we!?!  So many amazing designers putting all sorts of rustic decor into full spotlight it makes you wonder how to create the same look in your own home and as easy as they make it look!?  I decided since I love rustic decor as much as the next girl, I needed to find some simple and affordable pieces for your living room, to help you see just how easy it can be done in your own homes.  Bonus points since everything can be purchased on Amazon!!!  I’ll be honest, the likelihood of me purchasing anything goes up if I can buy from Amazon!  Am I right?

When in doubt, hang a clock.  They are timeless.  I like to keep them simple just like this one.  Prime members this one is on super sale today, great price for it’s size.

Console tables!  You sometimes may need to spend a little more in this category, but think how fun it will be to hang the clock above it and accessorize it!  Those places where you feel are empty and need some visual appeal, pop in a console table.  Also great behind your sofa.

Always add greenery.  Every room in your home needs a pop of color and greenery.  Wether it is faux or real, get some!  I have these in lots of areas and move them frequently from room to room.

Something galvanized in each space for a rustic appeal.  You can change out the decor season to season .  I love putting my plants and candles in mine with a pop of seasonal items.  Trays are multi purpose , you can keep them out and great for drink wear for those summer parties, even can go outside to as a serving piece.  Must have.

Throw blankets!  We use and abuse ours and go through them like crazy.  I love a knitted throw and this one is a great price and will go in anyones living room.  I tend to keep mine neutral and change them often.  Here is where you can add a pop of color if desired.

Lastly, area rugs!!!  Let me tell you, there is no better value than this one below.  Great for high traffic areas and natural fiber rugs always add another texture to your space.  I have toddlers and pets, and this holds it own and the price is unbeatable for this size.
