Vacation Ready

Who is ready for the beach? I know we are getting there with all the cold weather we are having! I know many of you have trips coming up too so I’m rounding up a ton of my favorite beach and vacation outfits, as well as some travel must haves! I also have lots of outfit inspiration for you to help you pack for your upcoming travel!

The key to packing smart for your beach vacation is picking pieces that are versatile and in the same color palette. This is the same basic idea as coordinating a spring capsule wardrobe. You will be able to easily mix and match pieces in case a surprise adventure or two come up!

I tend to do a lot on Amazon when it comes to travel. Easy and affordable items especially swimwear. Lots are under $40, if you are looking for a suit be sure to check them out and the reviews for sizing. I tend to size up in swimsuits. This is fairly standard when shopping for swimwear. I love this Amazon swimsuit! It has nice coverage, but I do recommend sizing up. Adding a hat for the beach is a must to protect your face! Don’t forget sunscreen too! This is one of my all time favorite Amazon suits! I grab it every year in every color I can!

I wore these layering pieces a TON and they’re already laid out in my packing pile! I like coverage from the sun and these can all be worn several ways. Denim shorts, a cover up, hat and some crochet will you have you set! These layering pieces are all from Amazon.

This is a great Amazon maxi dress! She is one of the best and comes in several colors. I like to layer with a belt or a button down for cooler evenings. I saw it has been restocked so I grabbed an extra! Easy to pack and a nice material. Maxi dresses are a great basic for any travel. I am wearing a small.

Travel Gear

Having the right travel gear is so important. We love our suitcases – they’re sturdy and have been with us on so many trips. Also, I just found this wipe holder! On one side it has the area for wipes and on the other it has a pouch for masks. Definitely essential for this trip!

Travel tip: Bring a pop-up hamper with you for the hotel room! It will help you keep the dirty clothing separate, the room tidy, and you’ll feel more at home.
